A combination of education and experience informs my work
I hold a Master of Arts in English (with distinction), a Bachelor of Arts Honours in English Studies (Cum Laude), and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities, majoring in English and Psychology. I've also completed professional development in copy-editing and digital marketing and hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education.
I've worked across publishing, education, agencies and professional services. My experience includes writing business communication textbooks and podcast show notes, developing explainer video scripts, working as a copywriter for a digital advertising agency, and helping Australian organisations with websites and thought leadership content.
This background has taught me that effective communication is about humility and critical thinking in equal measure.
It means putting the reader before the writer.
