My role: Content Writer

The brief

As a content writer for Syntax & Soul, I wrote a long-form article for 212F NZ, a B2B loyalty and incentives company.

The article needed to strengthen the company's subject-matter authority around B2B rewards while supporting its broader SEO strategy. It was written for sales, marketing, finance and senior decision-makers in organisations that sell through distributors, wholesalers and other channel partners.

The brief called for a distinctly B2B perspective, focusing on how rewards programs can influence partner behaviour, strengthen loyalty and contribute to measurable commercial outcomes.

My approach

I researched the subject and structured the article around the questions most relevant to a business considering or reviewing a B2B rewards program.

Rather than treating rewards as standalone incentives, I connected them to broader commercial objectives such as sales growth, customer retention, share of wallet and channel advocacy. I also used examples from manufacturing, trade supply, technology and automotive distribution to show how rewards programs can work across different B2B environments.

The article needed to satisfy specific search intent without becoming repetitive or keyword-led. I incorporated the supplied SEO terms naturally, used a clear heading hierarchy and organised the content into sections that allowed readers to find relevant information quickly.
