The brief

As a scriptwriter for PieholeTV, I created this 60-second explainer video for Eagle Eye Networks, a US cloud video surveillance company.

The video needed to introduce the platform to business owners and organisations without assuming technical knowledge, while communicating enough of its capabilities to make the product compelling.

My approach

I wrote the voiceover and visual direction, making sure what viewers see and hear work together to communicate a consistent message.

Rather than opening with technology, I started from the business owner's perspective: nobody cares more about protecting a business than the person who built it. This brought a human element to a technical subject and created a natural entry point into the product.

With only 60 seconds to work with, I balanced benefits with selected features to give prospective customers a meaningful sense of the platform's capabilities without overwhelming them with technical detail. Throughout, I kept the language and pacing simple to reinforce the platform's ease of use.
