Challenge
My client, a mobile vet, had just introduced a new pregnancy scanning service for cats and dogs. He wanted to share the news on social media, but the message needed to be handled with care. His audience includes devoted pet owners who may feel nervous, emotional or protective when it comes to their animals’ health, especially in moments of uncertainty like a possible pregnancy. The goal was to inform and encourage bookings without sounding clinical or salesy.
My Approach
To stay aligned with the brand’s voice, I wrote the post using the language of the client’s own customers, drawing directly from the heartfelt testimonials they’d left. Phrases like “gentle,” “in-home,” “calm and comfortable,” and “explains everything clearly” echo what clients consistently say about his care, creating instant familiarity and trust. The tone is warm, empathetic, and reassuring. This reflects the emotional nature of the service, and the values of the business itself: compassion, transparency and a genuine love for animals.
By posting consistently once a week, I helped grow the client’s Facebook following from 630 to over 940 in just six weeks.
