Challenge
Adaptive Green Space’s Google Business Profile already communicates its core offer: design, construction and maintenance of functional, sustainable outdoor spaces for residential and commercial clients, and locates the business in Seaholme, serving Melbourne’s west and beyond. There is, however, an opportunity to enhance clarity and local discoverability by making the western suburbs' footprint more explicit (for example, naming nearby suburbs), emphasising the brand’s focus on compact urban spaces (rooftops, courtyards, lightwells) and adding native GBP elements such as service one-liners and Q&As to better match search intent.
My Approach
Using details from the business website and its local business directory listing, I preserved the existing positioning while optimising the profile for search. I created an SEO description of up to 750 characters that foregrounds Seaholme and Melbourne’s western suburbs, highlighting the compact space capability and expanding on the sustainability message. I added a clear service area list (nearby western suburbs and key inner locations), created plain language, one-line summaries for each service, and suggested Q&As based on frequently asked questions.
These updates will strengthen completeness, relevance and user understanding, making the profile easier to find and act on in Google Search and Maps without resorting to keyword stuffing.
